Case Study: Freedom Jiu Jitsu Win-Back Campaign

A few weeks ago I wrote about winning back former students. To recap: my client, Freedom Jiu Jitsu, shared their former students list with me asking for help to win some back. This was new territory for me and I was excited to see what I could do. At the time I created a simple SMS campaign offering former students 2 months of training for $99. Here were the initial results for 114 former students out of the 259 total:

  • 44% Response Rate

  • 28% Responded Positively

  • 7% Booking Rate

Some pretty promising results. Currently we've reached hit 248 of the 259 former students and I wanted to share the current metrics for this win-back campaign:

  • 40% Response Rate (99)

  • 19% Positive Response (49)

  • 12% Of Positive Responders Signed Up (6)

We're still working about a dozen of the positive responders but overall I am happy with the results. 6 re-sign ups with a potential 4-7 more on the way! All without spending a dime on advertising. This was a nice boost to their July sign ups as summer is typically slow for this client.
